Now that firefighters are gaining the upper hand on the #ErskineFire, residents of several small communities near Lake Isabella are now returning to their fire-ravaged neighborhoods. Officials report more than 250 homes were destroyed and 46,000 acres burned. Kern County Fire Chief Brian Marshall said this was the “most destructive wildfire to go down in Kern County history.”
